After many years of maintaining a personal website, I think I will give up the effort this year. My energy for maintaining this site has obviously waned over time. Paraphrasing the line from Field of Dreams, “If you build it, they will come.” Well, if you don’t figure out how to promote it, then no one will find it. And nothing here went viral, unsurprisingly.
The only posts that have done consistently well were the one about troubleshooting an HP PageWide printer and the one on how to mute a iPhone call from the lockscreen. That is a testament from creating a boring site.
At the end of October 2024, the domain name and my hosting service will expire if I recall correctly. And then everything will disappear in the Internet ether.
